WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (Jan. 18, 2013) from San Antonio, Texas, but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

-- The show opened with Alberto Del Rio and his championship celebration, a fiesta for all. Naturally, Big Show interrupted, then Dolph Ziggler, then Sheamus and boom, tag team main event, playa.

-- Antonio Cesaro def. Kofi Kingston because I guess Kingston is the new mid-card credibility jobber.

-- Randy Orton and Team Hell No def. Wade Barrett and The Rhodes Scholars in a match it seems like we've seen a million times. The babyfaces go over, of course.

-- The Miz def. Primo. This seems fine on the surface but it's been specifically noted that Miz won by applying the figure four leg lock. So it seems Ric Flair really did pass that move off and he couldn't have picked a worse guy.

-- Kaitlyn def. Aksana in her first title defense since winning the Diva's title from Eve Torres on Monday Night Raw this week.

-- Sheamus and Del Rio def. Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. Hey, at least Ziggler is in the main event scene with the major world heavyweight title players.
