For fans watching last night's (Feb. 10, 2014) episode of Monday Night Raw on television, CM Punk chants were scattered but small and died out quickly. In fact, if you were listening hard for them, you may have missed them altogether.
For fans watching the show live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, that wasn't the case at all. In fact, Punk chants were loud and proud at certain points of the show.
But it was WWE who came up with a brilliant way to deal with them.
During the Dean Ambrose vs. Mark Henry match, the live broadcast on USA cut to commercial. The action then switched over to the App for the next two minutes or so and during that time, Seth Rollins grabbed a microphone and said the following:
"CM who? Huh? That's Dean Ambrose right there. That's the United States champion. That's the man you all wish you could be and that's the man all your ladies want to be with tonight."

This put plenty of heat on Rollins and Ambrose while fans started a chant up for Punk. As is usually the case, however, it quickly died down and by the time Raw returned to the air on USA, the chants were gone completely.
That's a win for everyone involved, and genius thinking on part of WWE, or Rollins, or whomever was responsible for doing this.
