New Age Outlaws vs. Rhodes Brothers tag team title rematch announced for Raw on Feb. 3, 2014

THIS IS THE REMATCH!

This past Monday night (Jan. 27, 2014) on Raw, Brock Lesnar interrupted the tag team championship match between current titleholders, the New Age Outlaws, and former champions turned challengers, Cody Rhodes & Goldust. He laid out the Rhodes brothers and, in turn, cost them their rematch at the team who took the gold copper at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) in Pittsburgh the night before.

Lesnar was "fined" by his actions, by the way.

As for the Rhodes crew, they'll get another shot at Road Dogg Jesse James and Bad Ass Billy Gunn this coming Monday night in Omaha, as announced by Triple H during his weekly sit-down with Michael Cole:

"Absolutely (a rematch will happen). I know it's just one week removed from that beating but they will absolutely get their opportunity. Goldust and Cody Rhodes will challenge the WWE tag team champions, the New Age Outlaws, this Monday on Raw. And just to make sure everything is above board and they get their fair opportunity this time, it will be contested inside of a steel cage."

Triple H promising a lack of shenanigans is something like the serpent telling Eve the fruit from the forbidden tree is perfectly okay to eat.

Still, at least there will be another opportunity for a team that has consistently entertained with quality matches for months now.
