Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar is not official for WrestleMania 29 on April 7 in New Jersey but it's beyond obvious that's the direction WWE is going after last night's (March 4) episode of Raw.
It's not officially official just yet but last night's (March 4, 2013) episode of Monday Night Raw made it clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that Triple H will get his rematch against Brock Lesnar and it will happen at WrestleMania 29 on Sun., April 7, 2013, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
"The Game" appeared at Raw to cut a big promo explaining why he returned to save Vince McMahon two weeks ago and claimed he still had the fire to compete after losing to Brock at SummerSlam but he never had the reason to leave his position as COO for a return to the ring to wrestle another match.
Then Lesnar broke Vince's hip and Triple H was forced to watch his family go through hardship during the ensuing surgery, giving him all the reason he needed to come back.
And so the challenge was made last night.
With Lesnar scheduled to appear on Raw next week, it's safe to assume it will be accepted then, giving us our top four matches for the biggest show of the year.
The WrestleMania 29 line-up:
- The Rock vs. John Cena (WWE championship)
- Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger (World heavyweight championship)
- Undertaker vs. CM Punk
- Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar
