Watch the video of the New Age Outlaws making their return to Monday Night Raw for the first time in 10 years for a match on the "Old School" episode. But will they be sticking around for a bit longer?
Last night's (March 4, 2013) "Old School" themed episode of Monday Night Raw in Buffalo, New York, featured a few returns of pro wrestling legends of yore like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter, Ted DiBiase, and Mae Young. But they all had bit parts mostly, simply showing up for a small angle and disappearing just as fast.
Not so for the New Age Outlaws.
Indeed, the Road Dogg Jesse James and Bad Ass Billy Gunn -- who both look pretty damn good considering how many years have gone by since they last appeared on WWE television together as a team -- actually showed up for a legitimate match with Primo and Epico. It wasn't anything special, but the two showed they can still work despite all the years that have gone by.
Later, on "Backstage Fallout," it was revealed that the Rhodes Scholars challenged the New Age Outlaws to a match next week on Raw so they can get rid of the "Degenerate dinosaurs" and the challenge was accepted.
So I guess they're back and the Rhodes Scholars are reunited once again.
Joy?
