Ric Flair health scare kept him off Monday Night Raw last night (March 25) in Philadelphia

Ric Flair was booked for last night's (March 25) episode of Monday Night Raw but was sent home after a health scare. So just what the hell is going on with him?

As you may or may not have read about today when our resident rumor monger Eric B. Stephen wrote about it in his daily Rumor Roundup column, Ric Flair was scheduled to appear as one of the Legends on the panel during the question and answer session with The Rock and John Cena on Monday Night Raw last night (March 25, 2013) in Philadelphia.

Obviously, he wasn't able to make it out, replaced by SmackDown General Manager and 2013 Hall of Fame inductee Booker T.

The reason for his not being able to fulfill his duties this time around was rumored to be a blood clot in his leg, the same issue that kept him from wrestling in Japan earlier this year. According to multiple reports, Flair came in to do the show and appeared to be in bad shape, with his leg being the obvious culprit.

It was bad enough that WWE didn't just send him home, their medical staff looked him over and immediately made the determination he needed to be sent to a local hospital.

He was checked out and released the same evening, as PW Insider notes he was working the bar drinking with the talent after Raw was over in Philadelphia. He does have orders to go see a doctor once he flies back home, which may or may not have already happened as of this writing.

So it seems Flair is doing okay, for now, but this obviously reinforces the idea that at his age and with his various health issues he absolutely doesn't need to be in another match and beyond that, he doesn't even need to get physical in the ring with wrestlers who are far younger.

This could be the final straw to that end. We shall see.
