WWE Raw results and post-Royal Rumble go home show open thread

Here's your open thread immediately following tonight's (Jan. 21, 2013) Royal Rumble go home episode of Monday Night Raw. Come here to discuss everything that went down.

Well, that was an interesting episode of Monday Night Raw, huh?

CM Punk cut an impassioned promo on The Rock early in the evening while "The Great One" was still being held up outside, unable to get in the building after Vickie Guerrero gave the order and planted some cops in front of the door. Rocky eventually worked it out -- in the lamest way possible -- and cut a promo of his own while the WWE champion sat in a sky box.

When he was done, The Shield made an appearance and the "Brahma Bull" became the latest victim of the triple power bomb that only comes after that terrifying primal scream from Roman Reigns.

Elsewhere, a "Beat the Clock" challenge was held to give the winner an opportunity to pick his number for the Royal Rumble match this Sunday night (Jan. 27, 2013) in Phoenix, Arizona. Dolph Ziggler won that by beating out Randy Orton and Sheamus.

There was actually a lot that went down and the live blog was jam packed with comments, so feel free to use this as your open thread to discuss everything that went down without crashing your browser.
