With the Royal Rumble match fast approaching this coming Sunday night (Jan. 27) in Phoenix, it's time to take a look at the list of confirmed entrants in the match as of Jan. 21.
The Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) event is scheduled for Sun., Jan. 27, 2013, at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. That's just six days away and there are only three episodes of television left -- Monday Night Raw, Main Event, and Friday Night SmackDown -- remaining before the big show.
That means we're likely going to get a few more announcements on entries into the Royal Rumble match. We won't know all 30 by the time the match comes around because WWE will always want to surprise us with a few names we haven't seen in a while, but there's no reason to think we won't know anywhere between 15-20 official entrants.
So far, we know of nine. That list includes:
- John Cena
- Sheamus
- Randy Orton
- Dolph Ziggler
- Heath Slater
- Jinder Mahal
- Drew McIntyre
- Antonio Cesaro
- Wade Barrett
It's possible WWE won't reveal any more names as official entrants into the match but that seems unlikely. We'll keep you up to date on any and all news and notes as we get closer and closer to the Rumble.
