Okay, so I say it's just for the hell of it, and that applies when posting it RIGHT HERE on CagesideSeats.com, but that's not why it's been legally uploaded to YouTube. No, that has happened because the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is promoting Frank Mir's upcoming fight against Josh Barnett at UFC 164 this Saturday night in Milwaukee.
So the company put a full free fight up on YouTube, which just so happens to be his first round submission victory over current WWE nomad Brock Lesnar.
If nothing else, it's a nice little trip down memory lane. This was just the second professional fight of Brock's brief mixed martial arts (MMA) career, but he certainly didn't look outgunned in that first minute. In fact, had it not been for a questionable call by referee Steve Mazzagatti, he may have stopped Mir with punches in what would have been one of the most shocking results in the history of the promotion.
Instead, Mir was given the chance to regroup from the bull's initial rush, and he took advantage by locking in a kneebar and forcing Lesnar to tap to save his leg.
The two would rematch at the biggest MMA show in history, UFC 100, and Lesnar would put a savage beating on Mir, this time actually stopping him with punches and turning his face into something resembling hamburger before it's been thrown into the pan.
