Bobby Lashley is on top of TNA once again.
Eddie Edwards defended his TNA title against Bobby Lashley on Impact tonight (Jan. 26) in a 30 minute Iron Man match. This was set up recently. Edwards had been retaining his title in less than convincing means the last couple months. So when Bobby Lashley won the right to face Eddie again after defeating EC3 in a Last Man Standing match, he decided to make Eddie earn it with the Iron Man stipulation.
It was quite the match. Lashley won the first fall early on with a spear to go up 1-0. After he powerbombed the champ on the ramp outside the ring, he picked up the second fall by count out.

However, as time wore on, Bobby Lashley ended up missing a spear and going head first into an exposed turnbuckle, which was his own doing from earlier. Eddie was able to capitalize with a pinfall to bring the match to 2-1 Lashley. He tied it up soon after with his Boston Knee Party finisher.
With less than 3 minutes on the clock, the challenger locked in a front choke and Eddie had no choice but to tap quickly and try to tie things up before time expired. He got his chance when he caught Lashley’s spear in a Guillotine Choke with a minute left. However, the dominant Lashley was able to avoid passing out before the time expired to win the match 3-2.

Now Lashley is back on top of the TNA world and continue where he left off in the middle of last year as the dominant champion.
Who’s excited for the reign of Lashley?
