This past weekend, Hulk Hogan took part in a question and answer session up in Toronto, one that was heavily promoted and led to that now classic arm wrestling match that saw Mayor Rob Ford go over on "The Hulkster," an accomplishment few wrestlers can tout with any honesty.
During that session, Hogan was asked what two things TNA needs to be more successful. His answer is so very rich:
"Two things? Honestly, straight up, knowing what I know now. Number one, and one doesn't work without the other, give (Eric Bischoff) the keys to the car. Because knowing everybody that I know, the promoters, from Eric to Verne (Gagne) to Vince (McMahon) to Vince Sr. to this guy and this guy, give (Bischoff) the keys to the car. And have somebody somewhere just drop all the resources we need. You know, like we had in the WWE and the WWF. Whether it be cameras or money or vehicles or advertising, just drop... have heaven open the doors and just drop it on us. In a perfect world. If we can give him the keys to the car and all the resources we need, that's what needs to happen."
He wants Bischoff running the show and an endless supply of money. So, WCW from 1995 to 1998 or so.
