With Hulk Hogan's TNA contract having run out and his having been written off television just this past week on Impact, speculation has quickly turned to his most ardent supporter, Eric Bischoff, and what his status is with the company.
Rumors have persisted that his deal comes up in early 2014, though it has most often been said that he will more than likely be staying right where he's at. Bischoff got a hold of this information and responded on his Twitter account:
Proving once again that so many wrestling "news" sites are a joke, reports of my (BHE's) contract w TNA expiring in 2014 is bullshit.— Eric Bischoff (@EBischoff) October 4, 2013
But these sites and the scum that live off them by publishing b.s. as fact is nothing new.— Eric Bischoff (@EBischoff) October 4, 2013
Oh those pesky dirt sheets!
Then again, pro wrestling is pro wrestling and if you can be worked, you will be. It's why we still can't quite be sure that Hogan is actually gone from TNA and not just planning a swerve. I mean, what else would he do? Go off and spoof Miley Cyrus videos with his ass hanging out while riding a wrecking ball?
