Not a "bro" off! Throw out "The List"! The Robs do battle at Lockdown!

The Road to Lockdown

It wasn't that long ago that a guy from the Jersey Shore showed up on TNA Impact with his girl. They attained instant success, with Robbie E winning the X Division championship and Cookie getting to work with reality television stars from their home state.

But all good things come to an end, and when the pair broke up after Robbie blamed Cookie for his losing and failing to regain the X Division title, he began a search for a new partner.

Thus the "bro"-mance between Robbie E and Robbie T was born.

The big Welshman has been with TNA for a few years now, and been a part of the British Invasion, held the Global championship and worked with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff as part of Immortal. But he was adrift until joining the Jersey boy in his quest for the Television title. The oddball pairing worked, as Robbie E captured the belt and Rob Terry, now known as Robbie T, made the scene as the new champ's muscle.

But E's ego slowly got the best of him. And after losing the title to Devon, he began taking his new partner for granted and blaming him for holding him back. When he insulted British Boot Camp winner Rockstar Spud's nationality, overlooking that T was the newcomer's countrymen, the big man could play sidekick no longer.

Robbie T passively allowed Spud to attack Robbie E, who the next week retaliated by smashing him over the head with a portrait of himself. The whole ugly break-up comes to a head this Sunday in a match at Lockdown.

What's at Stake?

The American can justify his high opinion of himself with a win over his ex-partner. The Brit can start anew on his own path by decisively closing the fist-pumping chapter of his career.
