Remember Buff Bagwell? According to "The Stuff," he may very well be headed for TNA.
"What a shocker," said no one anywhere upon reading that headline.
In a recent interview with the Shining Wizards, Buff Bagwell remarked that he's in talks with TNA for a potential return to the promotion in the near future:
"Me and Eric (Bischoff) are talking. Sting wants me to come down there and work for TNA. So we are in talks, we are waiting for me to get back to 100%. We are about 2 weeks out. I just spoke to Sting yesterday. So Eric is gonna bring me down and talk to me and just see what happens, so I am in the mix with maybe going back to TNA now."
Bagwell has made several appearances in TNA over the years but was never a consistent performer on the roster. I can't imagine what they would have in mind for him to do, other than some sort of shock value as a member of the Aces and 8s, even though no one on Earth would feel shock at that potential reveal. That's just speculation, anyway.
It's somewhat surprising TNA would even consider bringing him in considering the state of his health. Earlier this year, he suffered a seizure behind the wheel of his car, wrecked it, and suffered multiple broken bones in his jaw, neck, and face. He says he's since fully recovered but with his history, why would anyone want to put him in the ring?
Any of you Cagesiders hoping to see him back?
