TNA has made the main event for the Final Resolution pay-per-view (PPV) official for Dec. 9, 2012, in Orlando, as Bobby Roode will challenge Jeff Hardy for the heavyweight championship.
It's official.
James Storm earned a title shot against Jeff Hardy at the Turning Point pay-per-view (PPV) this past Nov. 11, 2012, when he pinned AJ Styles (who lost out on even getting a crack at the heavyweight belt until Bound for Glory 2013) in a triple threat match that also included Bobby Roode.
Then, on the very next episode of Impact Wrestling, Roode ended up talking his way into a match with Storm with the title shot on the line, one he ended up winning. Now, TNA has officially announced that Roode vs. Hardy will headline the promotion's next PPV offering, Final Resolution, on Dec. 9, 2012, at the Impact Wrestling Zone in Orlando, Florida.
Is there a title change coming? Hardy has teased as much, what with talk of debuting a new character and Genesis right around the corner, but we'll have to stay tuned to find out.
It's only a couple weeks away.
