The Rock may not have broken the pro wrestling pay-per-view buys record at WrestleMania 29, but the huge $122.2 million opening weekend of Fast & Furious 6 led to the biggest combined Memorial Day weekend box office in movie business history.

According to f4wonline.com, WWE have released its first official estimate of pay-per-view buys for WrestleMania 29, which was 1,048,000 worldwide. Mildly disappointing for a show with both Brock Lesnar and The Rock on it, but not a complete disaster.

Brock Lesnar and Triple H will finally, once and for all, settle their differences in their trilogy match in the main event of tonight's (Sun., May 19, 2013) Extreme Rules pay-per-view in St. Louis. But who will agree to do the job?

If it turns out The Rock never wrestles another match, his WrestleMania 29 main event encounter with John Cena would be a fitting end to his illustrious career. Or at least he says he would be happy with it.
