Stone Cold Steve Austin gave his endorsement to The Shield during their match against John Cena and Team Hell No on Monday Night Raw tonight (May 13, 2013) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When the Greatest Wrestler of All Time (you voted him as much, remember?) says you're doing good, take notice.
John Cena may or may not be working with a legitimate injury, as reports on the subject vary, but the man himself tweeted he'll be at Monday Night Raw tomorrow evening (April 29, 2013) in Columbus, Ohio. Keep in mind, this doesn't mean he's not injured, but it could mean the injury isn't serious and he won't miss any time at all.
Famed movie Director Michael Bay recently made comments that Dwayne Johnson should "grow up" and "stop wrestling 300-pound men" after The Rock was forced to miss promotional engagements for their collective effort Pain & Gain thanks to injuries suffered at WrestleMania 29 in his match with John Cena. That quote was picked up by countless outlets and taken quite seriously but Rock is passing it off as simply a joke, as you can see in the tweet above. Much ado about nothing?
Huge pop.
The Rock was advertised by WWE for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) on Facebook not long ago and now it appears "The Great One" has agreed to work a few dates post-WrestleMania 29. That's according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which notes Rock will be working the Extreme Rules show. Another match with John Cena to finally blow that feud off once and for all, perhaps? Photo: Simon Q from United Kingdom.
WWE.com has a pretty sweet new feature up that showcases an interactive "Road to WrestleMania 29" for CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Alberto Del Rio. You should definitely go check it out by clicking here.
Fruity Pebbles has a big presence at the WWE Fan Axxess event in advance of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) today (Sat., Jan. 26, 2013) in Phoenix, Arizona. According to our friend Arda Ocal, who shared the above photo on Twitter, free bowls of the cereal are being handed out. Hey, WWE fans finally have something to sincerely thank John Cena for.
