The Democrats have attacked WWE for cheating Connecticut taxpayers while taking $22 million in tax credits. WWE soon responded with a press release trumpeting how they pay their taxes, defending themselves from the allegations of any impropriety.

Now that he's lost his cushy position as a WWE board member, Lowell P. Weicker Jr. announced that he was backing Linda McMahon's Democrat rival Chris Murphy in the 2012 Connecticut election. Of course, this decision had nothing to do with WWE.
