Linda McMahon ran WWE -- took advantage of "corporate welfare", according to their favourite local newspaper "The Journal Inquirer".

Linda McMahon took a hammering over the weekend as every newspaper that offered a candidate an endorsement, gave her the thumbs down, despite her opponent's obvious flaws. However, the worst burial came from the Republican leaning "Journal Inquirer".

The Democrats have attacked WWE for cheating Connecticut taxpayers while taking $22 million in tax credits. WWE soon responded with a press release trumpeting how they pay their taxes, defending themselves from the allegations of any impropriety.

Dave Meltzer broke the news that WWE had been on a tear recently removing a huge number of videos from the Internet due to them being of copyrighted material. It soon turned out though that this was a favour to Linda McMahon's senate campaign.

It's less than two weeks since Linda McMahon won the Connecticut Republican Party's primary and already she's started throwing the dirt at her Democrat opponent Chris Murphy. Linda is attempting to brand Murphy a slacker for missing Congress hearings

Today was round two in the fight between Linda McMahon, ably abetted by her husband's company WWE, and the "bullying" Connecticut media. Linda's latest target for ruthless aggression is Ray Hackett of the Norwich Bulletin.
