Guess who!

That's right, Cagesiders, The Wrestling Aficionado is back from hiatus with a brand new episode chock full of Aficionado ... goodness. Okay, maybe we still need to get back into the swing of things.

But no time for that right now! In this week's episode, we explain what each of us have been doing during our time off, we mock and ridicule Rodie for his debilitating drug problem, we discuss the over blah-ness that was this week's Raw as well as argue over whether or not Sheamus was a proper choice for winning the 2012 Royal Rumble.

And for your Cageside lovebirds out there, we got Valentine's Day covered! A whole gaggle of ideas for that special someone is at your disposal.

What are you waiting for?! Subscribe via iTunes, plug this URL into your favorite RSS fed or listen now after the jump!

So this is the new year...

Any Death Cab fans out there? No? Just me? Alright!

Well, here's the last episode of The Wrestling Aficionado for 2011. We close out the year by discussing last week's Ring of Honor (ROH) Final Battle and all the latest episodes of Raw and Smackdown. We also meander into the black arts to give a stark, chilling look into the future and what lies ahead.

All in all, a pleasant 55 minutes! Remember you can find us on iTunes now -- or you can click here -- and you can still subscribe to our RSS feed here.

But to listen here and now, all you have to do is click below!

SOMEBODY SLAP MY MAMA, WE'RE ON ITUNES!

Now that Steve Jobs has joined that big IT department in the sky, my long-standing rivalry with Apple has simmered down and they've allowed The Wrestling Aficionado to be included in their podcast directory on iTunes.

Okay, half of that isn't true and seeing as how clicking here will get you subscribed through Jobs' media player, I think it's safe to say you can figure out which part is and which part isn't. You can open up the program and plug our name into the search engine to find us.

If that wasn't big enough news, WE'RE WEEKLY AGAIN! Booyah! This week we ran through WWE TLC and Raw from the past weekend. Recorded before last night's Final Battle 2011, we weren't able to get to that but we'll definitely discuss it next week.

Without further adieu...

The Wrestling Aficionado podcast for Dec. 10 online now!

Welcome to the latest edition of Le Aficionado de Lucha Libre! That's what we're going to call the show when we move to Mexico.

Anyway, we discuss quite a bit this week including the year end shows from WWE -- Tables, Ladders, Chairs -- and TNA -- Final Resolution -- as well as Ring of Honor's (ROH) Final Battle 2011 and which of the three we're looking forward to the most. Spoiler: it's not TNA.

Rodie Jon goes on several long-winded rants that don't really amount to anything, I defend Scott Steiner, Jonny tells me I'm stupid for wanting the wrestling business to admit it's all phony and we talk about possibly going to Party Mania 2, a WrestleMania fan party hosted by Sean Waltman.

Vamanos!

The Wrestling Aficionado podcast for Nov. 26 online now!

The Wrestling Aficionado takes over Saturdays!

In this episode we talk about whether this means the show is now the Jakked of Cageside Seats or the Shotgun Saturday Night, we discuss the good and the bad about Survivor Series and we once again get into a bitter, shouting argument over whether or not long title reigns should be the norm.

Actually, no one shouted but I gotta sell the show somehow, geez!

We also talk about what we're thankful for in wrestling and I inadvertently reveal what it is I do for a living outside of writing about half naked men rolling around with each other.

Listen as if your life depends on it!
