It wasn't long ago that Mick Foley revealed he wouldn't be renewing his Legends contract with WWE, due mostly to the fact that he felt stiffed on payouts for the last two video games that were released using his likeness.
Then, not long after, he gave an interview to Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling (GFW) that was released just last week. Part two of that interview drops tomorrow.
Interestingly enough, Foley put out the following on his Facebook today:
After giving the matter much thought, I have come to an important decision regarding my future. I know that not everyone will agree with, or support the decision, but I do hope the decision will be respected. I will make the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
Because of the timing, the obvious connection has been made and speculation is running rampant that Foley has reached an agreement to work with GFW to help Jarrett get his new pro wrestling promotion off the ground. That's just speculation for now, however, and we won't know for sure until Foley himself makes his announcement.
We'll pass it along when that happens. In the meantime, feel free to take your best guess.
