The New York Times ran an interesting profile on the world's foremost wrestling journalist and prolific operator of The Wrestling Observer newsletter, Dave Meltzer. The Times has an unsurprisingly sketchy grasp of pro-wrestling but it's obvious that this sort of exposure is good for the sport/industry. It seems a good time for everyone here at CSS to reflect on the significance of Meltzer and his contribution to the industry, for better or worse.
