Many a joke were made when WWE announced that their next pay-per-view (PPV) would be called Great Balls of Fire. Many a joke.
Tonight during their Extreme Rules PPV (results here), they revealed the first video promo for it. And it’s actually pretty cool.
They are using the Jerry Lee Lewis tune from which the PPV gets its name, a change from the modern songs that are normally chosen. It has a fun late 50s/early 60s vibe with imagery including classic cars, drive-in theaters, and old school diners (Samoa Joe’s diner!). Check it out below.
