It hasn’t really been that long since we last left the Temple in Boyle Heights, but there was so much going on, no one would blame you if you lost a couple threads.
To get you ready for the season three premiere coming your way tonight (Sept. 7) at 8PM on El Rey Network (beyond the work already done by our man Manolo with his Tope 10 and season two awards, naturally), the voice of Lucha Underground has a quick primer designed to jog your memory on the title scenes and major plot points:
Need a refresher on #LuchaUnderground Season 2? Don't you fret, @Matt_Striker_ is here to bring you up to speed! https://t.co/aLH3f6PW5g

Not even mentioned are things like Son of Havoc returning for revenge after being screwed by Dario Cueto’s latest unique opportunity, Famous B’s turn to the dark side, the next moves in the LAPD’s case against El Jefe or if we’ll ever get some resolution to the Black Lotus/El Dragon Azteca, Jr. drama (or a chance to really see what Lotus can do in a full match).
And don’t even get us started on all the stuff teased in the season three trailer. If you can’t handle the full thing again, here’s a shorter version:

Not much has been specifically announced about the show we’re getting this evening, but we have been provided a one sentence synopsis of the premiere episode:
After Dario Cueto’s arrest, the Luchadores return to the Temple where their destiny will be determined by the spin of a wheel.
And treated to a tantalizing look at Rey Mysterio’s latest dream match - this time against Pentagon Dark!
Join us at 8PM tonight, and let us know how you think Team LU will explain Vampiro’s return to the announce desk this time!
