LU S3E3 LIVE BLOG
Alright, folks, let's Lucha!
Rey Mysterio and El Dragon Azteca are sparring. They discuss their issue with Pentagon Dark as they do so. Rey advises letting Pentagon's other enemies destroy him since they have their own battle to fight. Chavo Guerrero interrupts. Azteca charges at him but Chavo gets him in a hold. Rey convinces Chavo to let him go. Chavo says that he guesses that Rey hasn't taught Dragon about La Familia Guerrero, so maybe he'll be the one to teach him.
In the temple, Dario is next to Dario's Dial of Doom to see how faces his brother for the LU title. After running down Son of Havoc a bit, he spins the wheel and it lands on the Mack.
The Mack vs. Matanza for the Lucha Underground championship
Mack starts with control because while the champ is waiting for Mack at the bottom of the stairs, Mack runs him from behind. He hits a stunner outside, rolls the champ in, but only gets a 1 count. Mack stays on the advantage on the Monster. That is until Matanza blocks a stunner and turns it into a German Suplex.
That's all it takes for the champ to take complete control of the challenger. Mack has a very brief moment of offense where he lands a chop and shouts "That's all you've got, bitch?" but Matanza kept on working him.
Finally, Mack is able to make it to his feet and the two exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Matanza soon finds himself outside of the ring and the Mack hits a dive over the top rope onto the Monster. Mack gets the champ back into the ring and hits a big shoulder block and then goes up to the top rope for a frog splash... but the champ gets the knees up. That's all it takes for Matanza to hit the Wrath of the Gods for the 1-2-3.
Matanza def. the Mack to retain his title

Dario is in his office and he may be doing coke. Johnny Mundo storms alongside Taya in and demands Dario spin the wheel again to give him a title shot. All Dario offers is the Trio Championship match, but Mundo wants none of it. He says he's going home to his dojo and leaves. Taya sticks around and offers to take Johnny's place in the Trios title match later.

Cage vs. Texano
Before the match, Dario comes out and says that this won't be a unique opportunity but instead the ultimate opportunity. They'll need to win to find out what that even means.
Texano has control early on but Cage uses some kick to get the advantage. One of those kicks lands Texano on the outside and Cage flips the top rope to land on his opponent. He gets Texano back in the ring and hit a neck breaker combo, maintaining control. Cage goes for a pinfall that Texano kicks out of but the Machine turns it right into a Reverse Boston Crab.
Cage goes for a German Suplex but when he follows up, Texano locks in an ankle lock and Cage ends to find the ropes. Now it's Texano who is in control. Texano misses a charge in the corner and once again it's Cage who takes advantage, hitting a spine buster. but it's to the point where the men trade moves
Texano hits a power slam for a near fall. Cage hits a Death Valley Driver. Texano misses a lariat and Cage follows up with a discuss clothesline for the 1-2-3.
Cage def. Texano
Dario Cueto comes out of the office and tells Cage that he'll have to beat Texano two more times to get this Ultimate Opportunity because Cueto/Cage is a best of 5 series.
