Lake's Take: Roman vs AJ Should Be 2/3 Falls

As stated by Stone Cold himself on Austin's podcast featuring Wade Keller the next encounter with AJ and Roman should not be an Extreme Rules match. Granted this type of match gives them tons of options with the booking of the Usos, Bulletproof, Roman, AJ and a certain coy Irishman I'd still much prefer 2/3 falls. Saying that, their Payback encounter had a lot of options too and WWE went with "let's use this as an opportunity to push the McMahon story forward." In this so called "New Era" the McMahons still can't help, but McMahon.

The main problem with all of this is WWE's insistence on naming Network Specials (PPVs) after whacky, overbooked matches. This would've worked wonderfully in the whacky, overbooked era of Attitude, but today we've got referees stepping in when people get a cut on the nose. Granted I fully understand this and the health of the workers needs to be at the forefront, but don't call something extreme and hand me a glass of warm milk.

Make the Intercontinental Title match extreme or the US Title match or...you get the idea. When was the last time WWE had a 2/3 falls match? OK, yes Payback was essentially that, but not technically. AJ and Roman will put on a clinic no matter what match they're given but from where I'm sitting 2/3 ain't bad.

That's Lake's Take, what's yours?
