This business with Conor McGregor and the UFC has passed pro wrestling levels of absurdity and has become something like a soap opera written by pre-teens at this point.
Just hours after the Notorious One Tweeted that he would be rejoining the big UFC 200 card, Dana White told TMZ Sports:
It's not true. We haven't talked to Conor or his manager since the press conference. I don't know why he would tweet that.
The UFC President went on to explain that, despite frequent queries about whether or not his is all a promotional ploy, none of the weeklong back-and-forth with his idle featherweight champ is a work.
We'll have to wait and see how the WWE tries to work their way back into the conversation, but in the meantime, unlike their other big Irish main roster star, Sheamus is not trying to woo Conor to pro graps, instead choosing to mock his sometimes-rival:
Happy to announce that I am BACK on WWE RAW!

Shout out to @RusevBUL and @VivaDelRio on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect
While there's no telling where McGregor or another famous Irish sports-entertainer will show up next, at least we can count on the Celtic Warrior.
