Dolph Ziggler’s upcoming career vs. title match against long-time rival and Intercontinental champion The Miz is already one of, if not THE best feud in WWE right now. And that was before the Spirit Squad showed up.
But the Show-Off really, really wants us to think he could be hanging up his boot this Sunday at No Mercy. He spoke frankly about what’s going on behind-the-scenes for him last night (Oct. 4) on Talking Smack, and not in the “worked shoot” way for which that show is known.
And he’s been Tweeting farewells to many of his colleagues on the blue brand:
great buds, in case this is my last #SDLive dustin helps us with so many different aspects & is founder of our #supperclub pic.twitter.com/NKdS00leXs

And even referring folks to his agent for bookings after this weekend’s pay-per-view (PPV) in Sacramento:
all bookings, starting October 10th will be through Luber/Roklin cc: @bryanbrucks https://t.co/l5NoXU7A6r

Is Ziggler done? There are rumors floating around that he could be, at least as an in-ring performer.
What do you make of his approach to this match? Is it making you more, or less, invested in his future - win or lose?
