Who would have thought that a tag match between a couple of mid-carders that Creative mostly uses as enhancement talent, a NXT alum who they leave alone because his finisher is over and a Canadian actor would become the most buzzed about undercard match at WWE SummerSlam?
Much of that has to do with Stardust (and now "Cosmic" King Barrett)'s willingness to play over-the-top supervillains. But it's also helped greatly by Arrow star Stephen Amell being a pro wrestling fan, trained athlete and an all-around good dude.
Continuing that last trend, he announced last night via his Twitter that he's releasing a limited edition shirt celebrating his one-time match in Brooklyn this Sunday. And not only is it a cool design, but a portion of proceeds will be going to Emily's House, a hospice facility for children and families in Toronto that focuses on end-of-life care.
It's a little pricey, but for a unique item (it will not be available once next Monday's Raw goes off the air) that's helping a great cause, spend it if you got it. Get yours here.
Stardust keeps asking for a hero, and Amell keeps doing his best to answer.
Have I mentioned lately that I love this feud?
