Challenge Accepted, WWE

Many have written about Seth Rollins' booking and the problems associated with it. Lets see the lengths the company has gone to to ensure that Rollins does not get a clean victory, but still continues his rise to and stay at the top of the WWE's Championship hierarchy (we'll ignore BJCC for now) -

1. Align him with the Authority.

2. Make "Kane interferes" the most popular punchline since Mike Lient.

3. Bring back the Cruiserweight Division.

4. Have him lose to the Cruiserweight Division.

5. Have Bray Wyatt summon what may have been Sister Abigail's ghost (this is the ONLY time that has happened).

6. Give him the MITB briefcase (using method 2.) so that his title win is opportunistic, and so, not fully 'clean'.

7. Make sure to give him a clean loss on the same night as said title win.

8. Have Cena beat him even with 3 interferences, putting Rollins through 2-3 tables along the way.

9. Have Big Show interfere, and then Roman Reigns interfere, and lose anyway.

10. Have him lose via pinfall and then overturn the decision to say its a loss via disqualification.

11. Have him win but make it clear that its only because he had tighter grip rather than any actual skill - maybe on a future show they will reveal that he secretly applied some butter to Dean's hands at some point?

12. And of course, the action which made me realize this is probably just a challenge from the WWE, bringing the Undertaker out of non-Wrestlemania-retirement to work Summerslam so he could interfere and prevent Rollins from losing (I'm sure the ratings are the bigger reason but you have to think it is partly this too).

It has now gotten to a point where the WWE seem to be actively challenging themselves to come up with new ways to have a WWE World Heavyweight Champion who is the least credible Champion on the show (yes, he lost to Ryback too). Or maybe they are challenging us? Maybe this has all been a game where the WWE want us, the fans, to come up with more and more new ways for the WWE to destroy their top Champion's credibility. Why? Probably because Vince McMahon says so, dammit! Anyway, lets just predict how the WWE will 'protect' Rollins' level of prominence and uselessness in potential future feuds.

1. Rollins vs Cena - Bray Wyatt, Rusev and Kevin Owens form an alliance to interfere, Rollins still loses via count out and sad but healthy, fresh Cena is standing tall.

2. Rollins vs Sheamus - Rollins hits Sheamus with the briefcase, the kitchen sink and a lobster head. He still can't beat Sheamus, so Kane dials up 1-800-FELLA and tells Sheamus to attack himself, which happens and Rollins wins.

3. Rollins vs Sandowllins - Sandowllins mimics all of Rollins' moves, which basically means Sandowllins is naturally as incompetent. This match will go on and on with neither man being able to do anything meaningful, until Kane interferes, attacks Rollins by mistake out of confusion seeing the look-a-likes, but Sandowllins goes down like a sack of potatoes too and its a double countout.

4. Rollins vs Rusev - Pre-match, there is a segment backstage where Lana whispers something into Ziggler's ear. This motivates him enough to interfere, beat up Rusev, get hit by a super kick, sell like he's been hit by a bullet, and give Lana enough time to throw some cosmetics into Rusev's eyes, so that Rollins can then low blow him, roll him up and win by holding the tights.

5. Rollins vs Nikki Bella - the ultimate Champion vs Champion match. Rollins performs twin magic with Sandowllins, Nikki with Brie, and we actually get to see Sandowllins vs Brie Bella, and Sandowllins, like the capable Rollins double he is, loses, but then they do the whole "you didn't beat me!" routine and Rollins is still the WWEWHC.

6. Rollins vs Kane - This is a loooong match where Kane keeps trying to attack Rollins with his right hand, and his left hand interferes. No one is really sure how this will end, since the show closes and they both just appear on the Authority as best buds the next night anyway.

7. Rollins vs Stone Cold Steve Austin - Rollins uses his pull with the Authority to make this a hair vs hair match, which automatically means Stone Cold forfeits the match.

8. Rollins vs Undertaker - This will be a streak vs streak match. Since Rollins still has his blond streak and Undertaker doesn't have his undefeated streak, this match will also be an automatic forfeit. Obviously, both this and the Stone Cold match will be promoted heavily, and the reveals of forfeits will be done at the PPV along with 20-minute promos by Rollins gloating.

9. Rollins vs The Rock - Two masked men will hit Rollins with a car and he will be out of action and this match will get canceled. Later, it is revealed that the men are the Usos and that they did it, for the Rock.

10. Rollins vs Bray Wyatt - The WWE will actually go to the lengths of having the ghost of Sister Abigail turn on Bray Wyatt, so that Rollins can disappear and not lose the title.

11. Rollins vs Sting - Vince McMahon will read a pamphlet somewhere about Impact Wrestling and GuFfaW launching an invasion angle and Sting, who happens to be walking by, will mention that he used to work there. So Vince will buy TNA and GFW, just so that the entire rosters can turn on Sting, just so that Rollins can still keep the title without winning clean. The two rosters will all get released right after that.

12. Rollins vs Triple H - Vince will make the entire NXT locker room turn on Triple H, but Triple H will still win against Rollins and become the Champion, because some things never change. Oops.

I have been away for a week, so I apologize in advance if anyone else has posted something like this already. You can all come up with further scenarios in the comments section. Let your imagination run wild!
