It's not much, but it's what we're going to get right now. And this being (most of) our boi D-Bry, we're going to obsess over every tidbit.
WWE.com today updated their article on the Intercontinental title match at this Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) to include:
Bryan is undergoing diagnostic testing to see if he can defend his title at Extreme Rules.
This provides them with an out they can run with at any time should they decide to not go through with Daniel Bryan's match against Bad News Barrett on May 26th, and as today's Rumor Roundup mentioned, WWE's plans do seem to be to just see if he can go on Sunday.
If he can't, they'll need to provide some more detail on this "diagnostic testing". As you'll no doubt recall, intial word on Bryan "hurting" was related to his neck and arm issues, before a rumor started that it was concussion-related, while WWE will only officially state that he was pulled from the European tour as a precautionary measure.
More on this as we have it. Do you think we'll see Bryan on Sunday? Should we?
