Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- There are rumors from the infamous Reddit rumor monger MetsFan4Ever that Brock Lesnar is close to signing a new deal with WWE and Triple H is apparently pushing hard to have him retain the title at WrestleMania 31.
- In addition, John Cena and Daniel Bryan would win the US and Intercontinental championships and WWE would book shows around those titles while Lesnar, as a part time champion, would take his time off.
- To circle back to Lesnar, the Observer reports that word of a new deal with WWE is premature and there hasn't been any movement since the issue they had where he walked out of Raw. The company will pitch him big in Los Angeles next Monday.
- It's thought that Kevin Nash will go into the Hall of Fame using that name as opposed to Diesel because the WWE Magazine in the UK profiling as much mentioned that name.
- According to the Observer, the people working for Lucha Underground believe a second season has been ordered.
