Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- According to PW Insider, there aren't any plans at this time for Sting to wrestle at WrestleMania 32 next year, though that doesn't mean he won't be there.
- On that note, Undertaker vs. John Cena appears to be one of the top matches for WrestleMania 32.
- While Roman Reigns turning heel was always a possibility, the Observer notes it was never seriously considered at Survivor Series.
- It's still planned to have Reigns get a big WWE world title win as his coronation. The idea with Survivor Series, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, was to book a cash-in like Daniel Bryan's at TLC in 2011 and telling the story of Bryan vs. The Authority leading to WrestleMania 30.
- It's expected that New Day vs. The Usos vs. Lucha Dragons for the tag team titles, Wyatt Family vs. Dudley Boyz, and Charlotte vs. Paige will be added to TLC in the coming weeks.
