Rumors of James Storm signing with WWE have been swirling ever since the 13-year TNA veteran's contract expired back in June. There were reports of him being in attendance at a recent NXT house show in Texas, but Storm himself denied he was there. On Wednesday, prior to NXT TakeOver: Respect, he was reportedly spotted heading into Full Sail with NXT trainer Billy Gunn.

If this is indeed James Storm in the photograph, it's possible he could just be there as a fan (and certainly, he would be friends with Gunn, BG James, Rhyno, Samoa Joe and plenty of others who work at NXT both behind the scenes and in front of the camera), or this could herald an impending contract announcement.
Storm has won 14 championships in TNA (16 if you count his two reigns as TNA World Beer Drinking Champion). He held the NWA World Tag Team Championship seven times (six with Chris Harris as America's Most Wanted and once with Christopher Daniels) and the TNA World Tag Team Championship six times (four reigns with Bobby Roode as Beer Money, Inc., once with Gunner and once with Abyss). His lone reign as TNA World Heavyweight Champion came back in 2011 and lasted a mere eight days.
