PWInsider is reporting that Rusev suffered an injury in a match against Neville during Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings in Phoenix. While there is no official word as to the extent of Rusev's injury, it was serious enough that WWE officials called a stop to the match and ruled Neville the winner.
An attendee of the tapings provided us with this extra bit of info on the match:
@sundownmotel he was quite angry when they called the match too. Chased the ball ringer out of the pit

PWInsider sources claim that the injury was a torn bicep. If this indeed ends up being the case, it will likely sideline him for at least a couple of months, keeping in line with similar injuries.
This has to be frustrating for Rusev, who suffered a fractured foot in May, although that injury thankfully only kept him out of action for a little over one month.
This is a definite blow to WWE's midcard, although thankfully for the company, Rusev is currently between programs.
Rusev recently wrapped up a storyline with Dolph Ziggler and competing in a six-man tag team match on Monday night's RAW. He and his real-life fiancee, Lana, have also been involved in backstage rumors recently, reportedly receiving some heat for news of their engagement getting out (although the heat was said to have mostly been with Lana).
