WWE Tune-Up: The Nature Boy

In this series, we look at a subject in the WWE that has fallen out of relevancy, and create a way to bring it back into the limelight.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is back in the WWE after several years of small appearances and a stint in TNA.

The 16-time world champion, although we are very excited to have back, has nothing to do at the moment as his rumored role as The Miz's manager fell through.

Ric Flair is not just someone you waste on a random 2-minute interview on Raw without any purpose, he deserves a role on television that makes the product more exciting than it already is.

Because of Ric Flair being directionless at the moment, I have come up with a few ways for Flair to be used correctly, as a two-time Hall Of Famer should.

Managing Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns's character, although interesting right now, is to similar to Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan's lone wolf against the Authority. He needs someone in his corner. Someone he respects and trusts. That someone being Ric Flair. With Flair by his side, it gives Reigns an edge that Ambrose and Bryan don't have over the Authority, someone they like as well. This partnership could even lead to a heel turn from The Nature Boy and screw Reigns over.

Managing Charlotte & Sasha Banks

Flair's daughter, NXT Women's Champion Charlotte and her friend Sasha Banks are going to be moving up to the main roster soon, and what better way to start off someone's career than having their Wrestling Legend father managing them. It ups the importance of Charlotte being there and makes Divas matches more interesting.

Babyface Authority Figure

Right now is the best time to introduce a babyface authority figure for a few reasons.

1. With Stephanie's arrest, the Board Of Directors could want someone to kind of watch over them and see if they are fit for their job.

2. Due to so many wrestlers going against the Authority, the Board might also want someone representing the roster and keep everything civil.

With Flair as a babyface Authority figure, it gives guys like Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Daniel Bryan a fair fight for the meantime. There would also be some great confrontations between The Authority and Ric Flair, leading to an awesome Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Match for complete power over the company. This gives The Authority their biggest challenge yet and a great way to bring back interest in Survivor Series.

If Flair were to be used in one of these capacities, it would not only make some stellar television, but bring back excitement in whatever he does.

That's it for Tune-Up! Stop by tomorrow for the next edition, and leave a comment suggesting my next topic in WWE in need of some new light.
