WWE Tune-Up: Finishers

In this series, we look at a subject in the WWE that has fallen out of relevancy and create a way to bring it back into the limelight.

The end of a match is arguably the most crucial part. It determines who is the winner, who fought the hardest, and who finished it off in the best way possible.

A finisher, although not the only aspect of a character, shows you what type of person they are and what they will do to win.

Randy Orton's RKO shows that Randy is sneaky, conniving, predictable yet unpredictable. The RKO can come at any moment and looks like it hurts.

John Cena's Attitude Adjustment shows John's triumph in the match and is the perfect way to climax a hard-fought battle.

A superstar's finisher shows who they are and what they can do.

That being said, these superstars are in desperate need of a tune-up for their finishers to help them fully embrace their characters, and I'm gonna help them do just that.

Dean Ambrose: Regal Stretch

- Dirty Deeds, although sounds exactly what Ambrose's finisher should sound like, is a very generic move for someone anything but generic. It often looks sloppy as well. With the Regal Stretch, we can see Ambrose's love for inflicting pain show when locking in the move and fits him just right.

Bo Dallas: BOston Crab

- Why? Because the BOdog is a Diva's move and should be a signature not a finisher. The BOston Crab shows how much Bo wants to win when locking it in and adding as much pressure as he can. It could also lead to an awesome Bo vs. Jericho showdown down the road.

Roman Reigns: Running Powerslam

- Although he makes the spear look a million times better than most people do, he needs more of a variety to finish off a match. Reigns's hard hitting, unstoppable style would work well with a Running Powerslam, as it shows is power, speed, intensity, and drive.

Brie Bella: Sunset-Flip Powerbomb

- Brie's current finisher, the Bella Buster, has been over-used and boring for quite some time. With her sister finding a new finisher, I would expect Brie the better wrestler, to do the same. The Sunset-flip powerbomb, or Brie Bomb if you will, could show how far Brie has come as a performer and how she is not just a pretty twin, but her own person.

Stardust: Standing Shiranui

- Someone like Stardust deserves a finisher just as awesome as he his, and nothing else surpasses the standing shiranui. If done correctly, it can look amazing and with Cody Rhodes as the driver, the move will for sure own the match.

That's it for Tune-Up! Stop by tomorrow for the next edition and comment your suggestion of a subject in the WWE in need of some new light.
