Rumor Roundup (April 1, 2014): WrestleMania 30 results, Raw go home, more!

What the Raw ending tells us about Bryan's chances in the WrestleMania XXX main event.

Today's rumors: What to expect from the WrestleMania 30 main event, predicting the other matches on the card based on Raw, and More!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • If the end of last night's "go-home" Raw wasn't evidence enough, it is seeming more and more likely that both Daniel Bryan and Triple H will be inserted into WWE World Heavyweight title WrestleMania XXX main event along with Batista and Randy Orton. However, if you believe the old adage that "whoever stands tall in a feud on the go-home show will lose at the pay per view," that doesn't bode well for Bryan.
  • Applying that same adage to the other Raw happenings, it seems that the Undertaker will extend his streak to 22-0 over Brock Lesnar. Los Matadores (who got the pinfall in the eight-man tag match) wouldn't seem likely to be leaving WrestleMania XXX as tag team champs. Surprisingly, John Cena stood tall over the Wyatts, which may mean the rumors about Wyatt going over Cena at the event prove true. Perhaps the Shield breakup will happen, as the Shield chased off Kane and the New Age Outlaws. It also doesn't seem likely that Big Show will win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal since he threw everyone else out of the ring during the Piper's Pit segment.
  • Around this time of year, with the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony coming up, the question always gets brought up regarding when Vince McMahon will be inducted. And this year, like seemingly every year, the answer is the same. It won't happen while he is alive. It is Vince's own standing order.
  • As of last night, there were still four spots to fill in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX. One is expected to be filled by a returning Rob Van Dam as a surprise entrant. Another will be filled by, of all people, Raw General Manager Brad Maddox.
