Rumor Roundup (Mar. 26, 2014): Hulk Hogan wrestling, Christian concussion, Chris Jericho WWE return, more!

Is Hogan really thinking about wrestling again?

Today's rumors: Hulk Hogan talks about wrestling again minus one move, Christian might have another concussion, answering whether or not Chris Jericho wants to come back to WWE, and more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Christian was pulled from last night's Main Event Intercontinental title match against Big E. Dolph Ziggler would end up winning a triple threat match over Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio for the vacant spot in the match and would lose to Big E later in the night. But why was Christian pulled? Theories abound that it is some sort of work, and the broadcast attributed his absence to "a slight concussion." Based on the info out there now, that actually does appear to be the case. Christian took a hard kick to the back of the head from Del Rio in the Fatal Four-Way on Raw and the concussion is being attributed to that.
  • When asked in a recent interview, Hulk Hogan said to "never say never" when it comes to him potentially working another match, but that he'll never do another leg drop. Hogan's back is in such poor shape that WWE officials feel he'll never be cleared for action again and Hogan himself has said previously that his spine is so compressed he's lost nearly 4 inches in height.
  • Chris Jericho mentioned in a recent interview that he still plans to return to WWE, but has enough other projects to keep him busy until he feels there is something "interesting" for him to do there. There was talk after CM Punk walked out that Vince McMahon wanted Jericho brought back in order to boost the star power for WrestleMania XXX, but obviously that idea never panned out.
  • In a big reversal, Dish Network has stated that they will be airing WrestleMania XXX on pay-per-view. They, like many other service providers, were not happy about the lost revenue when the WWE Network was announced and decided not to carry Elimination Chamber last month. They have also stated that they will air future PPVs on a case-by-case basis. The feeling is the big shows are safe but the smaller shows are not.
