Belief that Wyatt/Cena could steal the show at WM30?

Today's rumors: Expectations for the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt match at WrestleMania 30, more on the NXT match at the same show, other NXT news, and more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact; so remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Bray Wyatt has been part of what are widely considered the best matches from the first two pay per views of the year. (Against Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble and in a 6-man tag with this family against the Shield at Elimination Chamber.) Could he make it three in a row against John Cena at WrestleMania XXX? According to the feeling backstage, that very well could be the case. They obviously will have competition for the best match on the card from the likes of the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, as well as any of the matches Daniel Bryan is in. But there is definitely a feeling of optimism for how the Wyatt/Cena match will play out.
  • It is being reported that Carlos Colon will be the next addition to the WWE Hall of Fame. It is being said that the Puerto Rican superstar will be inducted by his sons and nephew: Carlito, Epico, and Primo, each current and former WWE superstars.
  • There is still a lot of talk regarding the rumored NXT match which could possibly take place at WrestleMania XXX. Right now, the most likely match seems to be a 6-man tag match pitting Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, and Bo Dallas against Corey Graves and the Ascension. Cesaro and Jack Swagger were also rumored potentially be part of the match, but now appear destined for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
  • Speaking of the Ascension, Konnor and Viktor, they debuted on the main roster house show circuit this past weekend. They were accompanied to the ring by Vickie Guerrero and defeated Los Matadores. Reports of the match were fairly negative, and it didn't connect with the fans in attendance. With main roster teams like the Real Americans and the Shield possibly set to break up soon, there is talk that the Ascension could be called up to the main roster full time in order to fill the void.
  • In other NXT news, it has been announced that the tag team champions, the Usos, will be at tomorrow's NXT taping, along with the Great Khali.
