Broadcast is live.
Los Matadores vs. Rybaxel
El Torito doing handstands on the corner turnbuckle before the match. Curtis Axel cuts an inset promo saying he'll be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Early in the match, Ryback is overwhelmed by the quick offense of the Matadores. Lot of comedy offense, including stops and starts so they can work the OLE chant in. At one point, Ryback stops a sunset flip roll up attempt, shouts STUPID, and goes to drop down on one of the Matadores with an ass drop.
Of course he missed.
The heels took control not long after when Ryback tagged Curtis Axel in and they split time getting the heat in anticipation of the hot tag.
Once it came, the heels bumped like crazy en route to a roll up victory off a distraction from El Torito, who Axel had kicked onto Ryback on the outside.
Los Matadores def. Rybaxel
Byron Saxton told us Los Matadores are a "serious" threat to the tag team championships. I guess. This was a nothing match.
AJ Lee vs. Natalya
Before the match, AJ gets a microphone.
"I am soooo bored. Natalya has yet another shot at my title. But have no fear because yet again I will beat her. And I will prove that I have no competition, that no one deserves to get in this ring with me. I will prove exactly why I am the longest reigning Divas champion of all time. 268 dash forever."
I think she meant hashtag, but whatever, she doesn't tweet anymore now that she's dating CM Punk.
Natalya comes out to a tame reaction.
They work a few holds early, a headlock into a hip toss, a scissors out to another headlock hip toss. At one point Natalya came down into AJ's lap and just held her leg. It wasn't a move or a hold or a submission, she was just holding her leg. Naturally, AJ sold like her limb was being ripped off.
Finally, AJ gets to the ropes and the non-hold must be broken.
Lee took control of the match until Natalya worked for a body slam, though AJ countered into a guillotine attempt. That was a cool spot. They also worked in a few clotheslines from AJ that Natalya bumped like Mr. Perfect for.
Then it turned into a brawl, though not a very good one. Natalya started selling a lot more, and eventually AJ worked in a few more submission attempts, including another guillotine and a rear-naked choke.
I guess Punk's been teaching her Gracie jiu-jitsu.
Natalya managed to work her way out of the Black Widow and into a Sharpshooter attempt from a failed roll up. AJ got out of that, then tried a high kick that Natalya caught and turned into another Sharpshooter.
With Tamina cheering her on, AJ climbed to the ropes but couldn't get there. Natalya dragged her to the center of the ring and it looked like it would surely be over. Instead, AJ crawled back to the ropes, where Tamina pushed the bottom one to her.
That broke the hold and Tamina started making noise on the outside. AJ hit the Shining Wizard then locked in the Black Widow for a second time and Natalya tapped.
AJ Lee def. Natalya to retain Divas championship
Slow rolling early with some ugly offense but it was good by the end.
Natalya cried in the ring.
Oh god, they've cut to video of Santino Marella taking Emma out on a date, their first one.
The date is a comedy of errors. Emma asked for pepper and when Santino tried to get some for her, he puled the table cloth with him, spilling its contents all over Emma.
Humiliated, he ran off.
Also humiliated, and now crying, Emma exclaimed, "I'll never ask for pepper again!"
This was stupid.
Raw rebound shows us what happened with Daniel Bryan and The Authority last night.
Dean Ambrose vs. Mark Henry
Both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are out there for this match, so expect shenanigans of some sort.
My stream, by the way, has frozen at four separate points during this show and the video quality has been all over the place. Not a great sign.
Good psychology early. Ambrose is trying to find a way to deal with Henry's size and "The World's Strongest Man" is just tossing him around. Dean gets frustrated and bails after the second body slam to regroup on the outside.
Slow and methodical, but the right call considering.
Once Ambrose gets control of the match, he starts working Henry's leg. Again, the smart psychological play. Henry doing a great job selling how hurt he is, screaming out in pain with each new twist and tweak.
When Henry made his comeback, it was tepid thanks to his selling his leg. Later, Seth Rollins pointed out that Ambrose got his leg on the bottom rope during a pinfall attempt and Henry went out of his way to go out and clock him.
Back in the ring, Henry set Ambrose up for a big splash from the corner but Roman Reigns caused a distraction, giving Ambrose time to knock Henry down. Right after, Ambrose hit his finish for the pin.
Ambrose def. Henry to retain the U.S. championship
Henry can't seem to buy a win these days.
The Shield celebrate in the ring to close the show.
