WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 results: The Wyatt Family beat The Shield in an AWESOME match

The Wyatt Family defeated The Shield. We all won, though.

The most anticipated match of the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) tonight (Sun., Feb. 23, 2014) at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, featured The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose) taking on The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan). The booking to hype this match couldn't have been better.

But could the match live up to it?

The video promo before it was absolutely outstanding. If the lead-up to this showdown on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown didn't put it over the top, the little two minute video package just before it sure did.

Then, they stared down before the match got started and the crowd responded with a dueling chant: "Let's go Wyatts" vs. "Let's go Shield". Something incredible about two heel teams getting a reaction like this. They separated to go to their corners before a wild brawl briefly broke out and The Shield cleared the ring to stand tall. This got a thunderous ovation.

Finally, they got to their corners, rang the bell, and had the match.

And it was awesome, though there was never any doubt that it would be. I cannot adequately describe how amazing this match was. You just have to wait 30 days until it hits the Network and watch it there.

This was incredible.

Oh, The Wyatt Family won. Wyatt pinned Reigns after THAT DAMN NUMBERS GAME managed to catch up to them. This after Ambrose and Rollins were taken out. Reigns put up a valiant fight but ultimately couldn't defeat the three Wyatt Family members by himself.

Go watch this.
