What you loved:
- Look - How they looked, matched their gimmick perfectly. The over-sized muscles, spiked shoulder pads, face paint, and even the haircuts! How they were booked also really helped them. They won a ton, and it was very appropriate that they did. I mean imagine if they talked all the shit they did, then went out and lost every other match. It would kill their presence and lose credibility, like a Ryback.
- Doomsday Device - A fantastic finisher that is one of the all-time great tag team maneuvers.
- Entrance Theme - Talk about bad-ass.
- Paul Ellering - He was the calculated cerebral manager that paired so nicely with the insanity that Animal and Hawk brought to the mic.
- Catchphrases - Obviously "What a ruuuuushhh" is a classic, that everyone has said at some point in their life. Some of you also enjoyed Animal's "Tell 'em Hawk!" as a great way to throw it to his partner.
Favorite comment goes to phlash74 - "Love: Everything about the Warriors in their AWA/NWA days was fantastic. The most imitated gimmick in history – think of all the wrestlers and teams that were influenced by them, from the Ultimate Warrior to Demolition to Powers of Pain, etc. They were limited in the ring but made the most of what they had and had some great feuds."

What you loathed:
- Dated Gimmick - Once the 90's hit, things changed for these two. When they went to the WWE, they became very watered down, lost some of their intimidation factor, and were getting a bit older. WWE even tried to re-start the team in 2000 and 2005, neither being a great run.
- In-Ring - They had two styles: brawling and stiff brawling, depending on their mood that night. Never were known as great workers.
- Hawk's Personal Issues - Unfortunately his abuse issues got the best of him, RIP Hawk. WWE for whatever horrible reasons brought these issues into a storyline. For those of you that don't know they basically had Hawk stumble around drunk, eventually climbing the Titan Tron and getting pushed off it by Droz (or just falling off) either way, it was stupid.
- Droz/Heidenreich - Tried to fill in for Hawk, but no, just...no.
- Stiff - They beat the shit out of their opponents, I never felt so bad for the jobbers.
Favorite comment belongs to Rex - "They weren’t all that good outside of some so-so brawling."
Last, but not least, the poll! With 132 votes, Hawk and Animal's average score is 4.3.
Thanks, Cagesiders! Tomorrow's pick is on the WWE roster ... but isn't.
Until then!
