As announced on WWE.com and broadcast on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for this Sun., Feb. 23, 2014, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has added three more matches to get to seven total, completing the card.
First, The Usos will challenge the New Age Outlaws for the tag team titles in a match that has been about a month in the making. So far, Jimmy and Jey have been one step ahead the whole way. We'll see if that continues this weekend.
Next, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil will complete the break up of their tag team by squaring off in a singles match. O'Neil, you'll remember, decided Young was dragging him down and holding him back, which led to his attacking and setting up the issue between the two. Read more on all that here.
Finally, the pre-show will feature the Rhodes brothers, Cody and Goldust, taking on Rybaxel (Ryback and Curtis Axel). There are two angles WWE is taking with this, at least in its preview for the match: 1) The tag division is still wide open for contenders and 2) Rybaxel helped along the break up of the Prime Time Players so, hey, you never know.
Here's the updated Elimination Chamber match card and line-up:
- Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Christian vs. Cesaro
- The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family
- Big E vs. Jack Swagger
- Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio
- New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos
- Darren Young vs. Titus O'Neil
- Rhodes Brothers vs. Rybaxel
