Apparently John Cena has fulfilled more requests than any other celebrity or sports star, and has done 100 in the last eight months alone. Both numbers are quite impressive, and after a bit of thought I've come to the conclusion that not only will he never have a much-needed heel turn, he shouldn't have one.

The character John Cena bores me to tears, and that isn't going to change. I'm never going to like the guy I see on TV, and I'm never going to like how he's going to end up right beside Hulk Hogan as a legend within the industry.

And that is perfectly fine, I can always turn the channel when he comes on.

John Cena the man, however, who's doing all this nice stuff for sick kids... I don't know him, and maybe if I did I wouldn't like him either. But the guy seems to seriously give a damn about these kids, and you must respect that. Make-A-Wish is one of the very best charities in existence, giving these kids that need something to smile about a chance to meet their idols, their heros. I know I'd lose my mind if someone arranged for me to meet David Gilmour or Christina Hendricks; I can only imagine how these kids feel when Cena walks into the room.

We all know Vince McMahon is looking to make his product as family-friendly as possible, and kids eat Cena up like stoners attacking a bag of Halloween candy. So we might as well forget about seeing him become a rulebreaker, and get used to him being at the top of the card until he walks away.

Just deal with it, keep the remote handy, and be happy for those kids.
