Although we knew it was coming at some point this month, we didn't know exactly when Roman Reigns would make his return to action in WWE. The surprise came when his music hit during the John Cena vs. Seth Rollins match at tonight's TLC pay-per-view (PPV) at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
He showed up just as Big Show was about to choke slam John Cena through a table.
And he got a hell of a pop.
When he hit the ring, he put Big Show down with a Superman punch and a spear through a table set up in the corner. Then he hit Rollins with a Superman punch that allowed Cena to hit an Attitude Adjustment through another table to give him the victory and a match with Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble for the WWE world heavyweight championship.
But where does that leave Reigns?
He gave an interview after the following match and said his plan all along was to make an impact upon his return and that's what he did tonight. That plan will continue next month, as he also officially declared he's entering the Royal Rumble match.
