Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Apparently there is a slight possibility that Roman Reigns will return for the TLC pay-per-view but WWE obviously doesn't want to rush him back and risk his health. He's still scheduled to be crowned the next king of WWE at WrestleMania 31.
- For what it's worth WWE is apparently worried about the Raw taping in Liverpool, England because of the WWE Network launch delay in the UK, according to the Wrestling Observer. It will air on tape delay, so edits could be made last minute to help if the crowd revolts (and they have every right to). For what it's worth, house shows are already running and the fans are chanting things like "where's our network" throughout the shows.
- Rusev was always planned to win the US title from Sheamus but it was originally set to happen at Survivor Series. WWE made a last minute change to drive subscribers by doing it on the Network after Raw this week.
- There could be a four-team tag title match at Survivor Series with Gold & Stardust defending against The Usos, Los Matadores, and Miz & Damien Mizdow. Don't be surprised if they put the belts on Miz & Mizdow because they're hot right now.
- This is getting to be as bad as "Sting will sign with WWE soon" but TNA executive John Gaburick was in New York not long ago and the word is it was to finalize a TV deal and that the news on as much will come soon.
