Vince McMahon comes out to the ring and welcomes everyone to Survivor Series.
He introduces The Authority, who comes out to a chorus of boos. Stephanie McMahon vows to Vince that she will not let him down, and starts a "VINCE!" chant.
Vince, annoyed, stops the chanting and welcomes John Cena to the ring. Vince reemphasizes the stipulations of tonight's main event.
Cena asks a question: What will happen when Team Authority loses? Will they walk out willingly, or be thrown out? Triple H retorts saying that Cena will be responsible for the firing of four men with families. Simply put, Cena's teammates have everything to lose.
Stephanie vows that, even if The Authority loses tonight, The Authority will run the show from Stamford, CT.
Vince corrects her by saying that The Authority will have NO influence over the televised product if defeated, and only one man can bring them back to power should they lose tonight: John Cena.
Upon this bombshell, Cena tips his hat at The Authority, and Vince tells The Authority to not let him down.
Steph tells Cena to wipe his smug look off his face, and Vince's pressure will make them stronger. Cena retorts saying that they will lose, and there is "no chance in hell" that he'll let them back to power.
