Early this month, Zack Ryder informed fans via Twitter of an injury that would keep him off of the WWE's European tour.
The Iced Z is back with another update, this time brought to you via another of the social media maven's channels - YouTube.
Ryder takes us along on his trip to Birmingham, Alabama for a visit with famed orthopaedist Dr. James Andrews. In an effort to avoid having surgery on his torn rotator cuff, Zack undergoes a procedure to have stem cells from bone marrow in his hip injected into the shoulder. He'll now rest for three weeks and then do three-to-five weeks of rehabilitation.
At that point, he'll be evaluated again. Surgery is still an option should the injury not heal sufficiently with this procedure.
The former U.S. and tag team champ promises to update us on his recovery, and as he does, we'll make sure you're aware of it, too, Cagesiders.
