My Take on Daniel Bryan's Royal Rumble "Snub": Don't Be Angry!

My twitter followers who will read this article may think I've been ranting about the Royal Rumble finish so that I can fit in with the rest of the WWE Universe. Though I have been ranting a lot because I'm upset of the situation, I have become more level headed in the past 12 hours. Here's my reasoning behind that.

In case you missed it and haven't been on the interwebs until this article, last nights WWE Royal Rumble was nothing short of a disappointing show. Why? because there was no Daniel Bryan in the Royal Rumble match.

No, you non Daniel Bryan fans are right, he wasn't scheduled for the actual rumble match but this is where disappointment and logic clash with each other.

Daniel Bryan was never scheduled for the Royal Rumble match but recently (in the last couple of years) WWE has like to give us the ole swerve so that we believe what we read through dirt sheets but then WWE comes out and does the complete opposite.

The swerving technique hasn't been done to the extent that every match features the opposite of what we thought was going to play out but enough to where the WWE Universe doesn't know what to believe.

This is where disappointment set in. We believed since Daniel Bryan had wrestled earlier in the night that he was cleared from his concussion and was going to be a surprise entrant in the rumble, which never happened. So when it got to number 30 and we saw Rey Mysterio and no Daniel Bryan, we felt the need to boo.

Speaking of concussions, that's another reason why Daniel Bryan may have not been included (even last minute) in the Rumble. I believe Bryan wasn't all that cleared going into his match with Bray Wyatt. Plus, Bryan took some pretty serious bumps to the head during that bout.

I'm not saying that this is another cause of the "snub" but if I was in the position WWE was in, I wouldn't have even cleared Bryan for a match.

So should we be angry Bryan wasn't in the Rumble? No, we shouldn't be. Especially considering the fact that 2 weeks ago when Daniel Bryan turned on Bray Wyatt and got that tremendous pop, it was said that he finally won Vince McMahon over. Not only that but F4WOnline reports that WWE still plans on pushing Bryan in a MAJOR way.

Don't be upset. Does Triple H's friends get anything they want? Yeah, but when was the last time a wrestler got over without WWE's permission? Never. If we are going to be upset, be upset at Triple H giving Batista and Randy Orton the spotlight over everyone else.
